reaccurance

Posted in Group:

Hi my name is Donna, I was diagnoses with stage 2 vulvar cancer with lymph node involvement. I had surgery to remove the vulvar cancer and some of the right lymph nodes ( the side the cancer was on). I also had 43 doses of radiation and 6 weeks (one day a week chemo). Anyway I got through all that not badly either maybe thats in high sight but anyway. I finished everything right before Christmas of last year and even had a PET scan in March that was clean. Now I have a tumor on the left side of my groin and other lymph nodes that are enlarged. I will not here the biopsy results until Tuesday at the earliest and I am freaky out. She the PA already basically said it was cancer and not lymphadema, or any other beign reason. Its only been nine months and I'm back to chemo and radiation I guess. Any thoughts. Will this happen again and again?

You are in my prayers. Try not to get too stressed, because you do not have the results yet. They, the doctors, can assume whatever they believe, but the test should be the answer. Also, the second opinion is a good option. Have faith and say a prayer, everything will be fine. God bless you.

I am wondering how you are doing now. Hoping test results came back with good news.
